Privacy Policy

How Text to Speech handles account data, text input, voice samples, and subscription information.

This page explains what information may be processed when you use the app, why it is used, and how support, billing, and voice-related features depend on that information.

Information we may collect

Account details

Email address, authentication details, and account status used for sign-in and access management. If you sign in with Apple, we receive only the information Apple provides.

Text input

Text submitted for speech generation or pronunciation and punctuation enhancement. Text is sent to voice service APIs for processing.

Voice inputs

Recordings, uploaded samples, transcripts, descriptions, and optional images used for custom voice creation on the Pro plan.

Plan and usage data

Subscription status, daily or monthly credit usage, and local app settings needed to operate the product and enforce plan limits.

What we do not collect

We collect only what is needed to operate the product. The following types of information are not collected.

Location data
The app does not request or use your device location at any point.
Contacts
The app does not access your contacts list or any contact information stored on your device.
Browsing or app history
We do not track what other apps you use or what websites you visit.
Device fingerprinting
We do not build device identifiers beyond what Apple's platform provides for standard app operation.
Camera or photo library
The app does not access your camera or photos unless you explicitly choose to add a cover image to a voice clone (optional).

How the information is used

Third-party services

The app relies on third-party services to function. These services may receive certain information as part of delivering the features described above.

Each of these providers operates under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies if you have specific questions about how they handle data.

Security

Data transmitted between the app and our backend is sent over HTTPS. Access to account and usage data is managed through Supabase Row Level Security, meaning users can only access their own records. We do not store payment card details — all billing is handled by Apple through the App Store.

No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised or you notice unexpected activity, contact support immediately.

Voice cloning and user responsibility

If you submit recordings, transcripts, or any other voice-related material for cloning, you are solely responsible for having the right to use and process that content. Do not upload another person's voice or likeness without clear, explicit permission.

Storage and retention

Some information remains stored for account operation, subscription handling, support, or access to your saved voice models. Information stored locally on your device may remain until you remove the app or clear device data.

We may also retain information when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or enforcing our terms. Custom voice models may be deleted or become unavailable if accounts are closed, storage is no longer supported, or service providers change.

Children's privacy

This app is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 13. If you believe a minor has submitted information through the app without parental consent, contact us at [email protected] and we will take steps to remove the information.

Your choices

Changes to this policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Significant changes that affect how your information is used may be communicated through in-app notices or via email if we have your contact information. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
